Return & Refund Policy

Understand the return and refund rules for Dogeprint custom products

Last updated: January 1, 2025

1. Custom Product Return Policy

Print on Demand products are manufactured according to customer-supplied design files, making each item unique and non-resalable. Therefore, custom products generally do not qualify for unconditional returns.

We understand this differs from standard retail return policies. Every POD product is specially manufactured based on your unique design—from material cutting, printing, and assembly to quality inspection—all executed to your order specifications.

2. Free Resolution for Quality Issues

If the product you receive has any of the following quality issues, Dogeprint will provide a free remake or full refund:

- Print defects: Blurry prints, ink breaks, missing prints, pattern misalignment, or print peeling

  • Excessive color deviation: Color difference between the actual product and the approved sample exceeding ΔE 2 (evaluated under standard lighting)

  • Size errors: Product dimensions deviating from order specifications beyond acceptable tolerance

  • Material defects: Visible scratches, stains, tears, or other issues with raw materials

  • Craftsmanship defects: Seam splitting, poor adhesion, damaged hardware, or other manufacturing issues

  • 3. Return & Refund Process

To request a return or refund, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Photograph the Issue After receiving the product, take clear photos or videos showing both the defect details and overall appearance. We recommend photographing under natural light.

Step 2: Submit a Ticket Log into your Dogeprint account and submit an after-sales ticket on the order detail page. Upload photos and describe the issue in detail. You may also email [email protected].

Step 3: 48-Hour Review Our quality control team will review your request within 48 hours and notify you of the result via email.

Step 4: Remake or Refund Once approved, you can choose a free remake (remanufacture) or a full refund. Remake orders are prioritized in production and typically ship within 5-7 business days.

    4. Refund Timeline

After a refund is approved, the amount will be returned via the original payment method:

    - Credit/Debit Card: 5-10 business days

  • PayPal: 3-5 business days

  • Bank Transfer: 7-10 business days

The refund amount covers the product cost. Shipping refund policies vary by case—for quality-related returns, Dogeprint covers the shipping costs.

  • 5. Non-Eligible Cases

The following situations are not covered by our return policy:

    - Design file errors: Print quality issues caused by insufficient resolution, incorrect color mode, or size mismatch in customer-uploaded design files. We recommend approving a sample before committing to full production.

  • Incorrect shipping address: Packages that are undeliverable or lost due to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

  • Beyond 30 days: After-sales requests submitted more than 30 days after delivery.

  • Customer-caused damage: Damage resulting from improper use, incorrect washing methods, or other customer-caused factors.

  • Subjective dissatisfaction: Dissatisfaction with color preferences or design aesthetics, provided the product meets the approved sample standard.

  • 6. Fulfillment Order Returns

For orders processed through Dogeprint's Fulfillment service (i.e., end-customer orders from partner sellers):

    - End-customer return requests are handled directly between partner sellers and their customers. Dogeprint does not interface directly with end customers.

  • Quality issues remain Dogeprint's responsibility. When a partner seller receives a quality complaint from an end customer, they may submit an after-sales ticket to Dogeprint following the same process above.

  • Partner sellers should clearly communicate the nature of custom POD products in their own store return policies.

  • We recommend partner sellers offer sample approval services to end customers to minimize disputes arising from expectation gaps.
